What this check does — and does not — tell you
- It confirms the record is real
- A valid ID returns the learner's name, the module title and the date the module was completed and passed, straight from our training records. If the ID returns nothing, the certificate did not come from us.
- It records completion, not competence
- A certificate states that a named person completed and passed a specific module on a specific date. Whether that makes them competent for a given task is the employer's determination under Article 6 of Directive 89/391/EEC — training is one input to that judgement, not a substitute for it.
- It is not a licence or a legal permit
- Two agents carry legally mandatory certified training across the EU — asbestos (Directive 2009/148/EC) and isocyanates (REACH). Our modules are general health and safety training and do not replace those schemes.
