WENDEL CONSULT TRAINING & E-LEARNING
20 modules · 12 live today · for the people who plan and resource the work

Safety Leadership is a programme, not a shelf of courses

A line manager can be held responsible for things EU law never asked of them, and let off the hook for things it does. This track draws that line precisely — and it draws it in order, because each module leans on the one before it.

Most organisations have doubted at some point whether their safety competence would hold up — and rarely for want of effort. The records sit in three places, the training is a few years old, and nobody can point to the article of law behind it. Safety Leadership was built to close that gap for the people who plan and resource the work — narrated, assessed, and traceable to the article it comes from.

12 of the 20 modules are live today. The remaining 8 are in production and are included in the licence at no extra cost — you get them the day they publish.

Stage 1

Foundations

  1. 00
    Introduction

What the track covers, how the modules connect, and what it will and will not give you.

  2. 01
    Safety Management & PDCA

The management cycle the rest of the track hangs off, and where yours is most likely to be thin.

  3. 02
    Legal Duties

What EU law puts on the employer and on the line manager — and what it explicitly does not.

Stage 2

Running the system

  1. 03
    Safety Culture

What culture is in terms you can actually measure, and what moves it.

  2. 04
    Safety Communication

Making a safety message land with people who have heard it several times before.

  3. 05
    Risk Assessment

Running an assessment that stands up to a question, and knowing when it is finished.

  4. 06
    Permit to Work

When a permit is required, what it has to control, and the ways permits quietly fail.

  5. 07
    Contractors

Your duties towards people who do not work for you, and where the seams open up.

Stage 3

People & health

    Vulnerable Workers

    Psychosocial Risks

Treating psychological health as a risk to be managed, not a wellbeing extra.

  3. 10
    Health Surveillance

When surveillance is a duty, what triggers it, and the data-protection wall around the results.

  4. 11
    Absence ManagementIn production

Absence as a safety signal, and the boundary between managing it and policing it.

Stage 4

Evidence & improvement

7 in production

    Safety DocumentationIn production

What the law actually requires in writing, and what over-documentation costs you.

    Inductions & OnboardingIn production

The first day, and why most of what is said on it is not retained.

  3. 14
    Toolbox TalksIn production

Short talks that change something, rather than talks that are recorded as having happened.

  4. 15
    Emergency PlanningIn production

Planning for the day it goes wrong, and rehearsing the parts that people get wrong.

  5. 16
    Inspections & AuditsIn production

Looking at your own operation honestly, and what to do with what you find.

  6. 17
    Incident InvestigationIn production

Getting to cause rather than to blame, and making the finding stick.

  7. 18
    Construction Coordination

When coordination duties are triggered on a site, and who holds which one.

  8. 19
    Safety OrganisationIn production

Who has to be designated, who has to be consulted, and what the safety organisation actually does.
